Froth & Cork Wins Bronze for Minnesota’s Best Coffee House!

Minnesota’s Best is an audience-driven contest. Owners, managers, customers, and/or fans nominate businesses.

Froth & Cork won bronze for the first time. They shared the honor with Area 57 Coffee Cafe in Wanamingo, Minnesota winning Silver, and Ember Coffee Co. in Big Lake, Minnesota winning Gold.

Congratulations to them and their customers for voting for them!

Join us at the Hastings McDonald's for coffee with a Hastings Police Officer on November 12th, from 8 to 10 AM. This is just a chance to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know the officers in your neighborhood.

Join us for this month’s game night at Spiral Brewery on November 12th, from 6 - 8 PM. The featured game this month is Rummikub.

🏅 Learn to Play Pickleball
Grab your friends and come learn to play pickleball! This class is perfect for beginners, offering both instruction and playtime. You’ll learn all the rules and basics. It covers equipment, lingo, scorekeeping, court positioning, and the basics of serving, returning, and volleying. 📄 Employment Tax Seminar
Hastings business owners - join a free seminar at City Hall on November 13th. It will help you navigate state employment tax and reporting rules. Experts will discuss key topics. They are from the Minnesota Unemployment Insurance Program, the Department of Revenue, and the Workers' Compensation Insurers Association. These include worker status, online reporting, and wage reporting.

🎁 Project Share Adopt-a-Family Begins
Spread holiday joy by adopting a family this season! Gather friends, co-workers, and family, or make a difference on your own by fulfilling a family’s wish list. If you want to help a family through Project Share, watch the Hastings Family Service website. A sign-up link will go live on Wednesday, November 13th. Thank you for bringing help and hope to families in ISD 200!

🍻 Spiral Brewery Taproom Takeover
Join us on November 14th, from 4-7 pm, for a lively Taproom Takeover. It's to support Gobble Gait's 8K and 2K race/walk fundraiser for Hastings Family Service! This year is extra special, as we celebrate over $2 million raised since the race’s start in 1998. Join us for a great time and raise a glass for a fantastic cause—cheers to seeing you there!
